Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative 2D Animator to join our team and contribute to the development of engaging and visually captivating animations for various projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of animation principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to bring characters and scenes to life through movement and expression. As a 2D Animator, you will work closely with our design and production teams to create animations that align with the artistic direction and project objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements, objectives, and artistic vision.
• Create high-quality 2D animations, including character movement, facial expressions, and environmental elements, following established design concepts and animation guidelines.
• Develop storyboards and animatic to outline the sequence of scenes and actions for approval before final animation production.
• Utilize a variety of animation techniques to convey emotion, action, and narrative in line with the project's style and tone.
• Ensure animations adhere to technical specifications and platform requirements, optimizing for various devices and resolutions.
• Revise and modify animations based on feedback from team members, stakeholders, and clients, while maintaining a balance between creativity and project goals.
• Collaborate with other artists, designers, and programmers to integrate animations seamlessly into the overall project.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new animation techniques, and software updates, and share your knowledge with the team.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and milestones, balancing multiple tasks and priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 2D animation work, including character animations, environments, and dynamic scenes
• Proficient in animation software such as Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, anticipation, follow-through, and squash and stretch.
• Ability to create expressive and appealing character animations that convey emotions and personalities effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a creative team environment.
• Experience with concept art, storyboarding, and pre-visualization techniques is a plus
• Knowledge of 3D animation principles and software is a bonus but not required.
